Industrial Visit to WebAstral Infosystems, Phase-8, Mohali, Punjab on 11-April, 2018

The visit was organized with the prior permission and guidance of Director Principal Dr. Rajdeep Singh and HOD applied Science Department Dr. Lakhwinder Singh.

Mr. Sumit Kumar and Ms. Sohni, teaching faculty accompanied total 42 students in this industrial visit.

At WebAstral, resource person Ms. Simran on the topic of “Advance technologies in IT field” took a session. It was a good experience; students became familiar with desktop and mobile application development techniques with the help of new technologies like AngularJS, Node.js, React, ionic framework and Android. 

Industrial Visit to Bebo Technologies, IT Park, Chandigarh on 20-June, 2017

The visit was organized with the prior permission and guidance of Director Principal Dr. Vikas Dhawan and HOD of CSE Department Dr. Manish Mahajan.

Mr. Sumit Kumar teaching faculty of CSE department accompanied  total 66 students in this industrial visit. 

 There was an interactive session between students & the experts. Also students were told about HR interviews & what value does a company seek in an individual.

5 Days FDP on “Potential Enhancement”

Department of Applied Science, CGC-COE is organizing, 5 Days FDP on “Potential Enhancement”, Directors & Principals of various colleges of CGC will be among the Resource persons for FDP. Free entry on first come first serve basis only.

Round 1 (Elimination): Spoon-lemon Race, Coin Collection

Round 2 (Elimination): Arm Wrestling, Bending & Balancing

Round 3 (Final Round): 45 Seconds to Fame (Final Round)*

* The rules are simple- the performer or a group of performers have to go up on stage and do absolutely anything that the crowd and the judges like in the 45 seconds allotted. The range of performances vary from singing, dancing, mono acting, skits, gangam style-ing, juggling, playing ‘Drifting’ on guitars, gymnastics, imitations of professors and actors, reciting poems, telling jokes and so much more. This is one event that has something for everybody, even if you have absolutely no talent. It is much enjoyed by the audience as well.
